Scholarships

For a brighter tomorrow, we need everyone working to the best of their ability. Unfortunately, many young South Africans don’t have access to the type of quality education that will help them succeed. When you invest in a boy’s education, you are also investing in the future of South Africa.

For this reason one of the first projects the Paarl Boys’ High Foundation Trust embarked on was the creation of a scholarship for deserving learners. Our goal is to annually offer funding to boys who exemplify the school’s ethos of good scholarship, good sportsmanship and good conduct but whose families need financial aid. In 2021, the first year of the initiative, the Foundation covered the educational costs for two learners. Our hope is that with your help, this project can expand to assist more promising boys.

R5 000 will cover the costs of a learner’s uniform.
R36 500 will fund a year’s school fees.
R50 000 will pay a learner’s boarding fees for a year.

Academic Fund

To support the school’s commitment to academic excellence, the Foundation makes funding available for additional tuition and extra educational resources. This ongoing initiative is aimed at giving learners the boost they need to improve grades and secure their university placement.

Heritage

The Foundation not only invests in tomorrow, it also strengthens bonds in the present. To this end, the Foundation sponsored a museum panel commemorating Boishaai’s 150-year milestone.
